Teeth grinding is the conscious or unconscious grinding or clenching of our teeth and is a common problem that often happens during sleep or in stressful situations. This habit is common in children but is also observed in some adults. Frequent grinding and clenching results can cause sensitive and/or damaged teeth, headache, and jaw pain and stiffness: most people don't realise that they have this condition. To alleviate the symptoms, botulinum toxin is often used to weaken the jaw muscle that reduces teeth grinding and jaw clenching.
