Dermal Filler

Dermal fillers are gel-like substances that are injected under the layer of the skin to restore the lessening or lost volume, smooth lines such as wrinkles, or enhance the definition of particular parts of the face. With that being said, it is an effective treatment for conditions that has irregularities, asymmetry, or abnormality in shape, form, and definition of the skin such as wrinkles, humps, or receding skin. Dermal fillers can vary in their composition to make them more suitable for the treatment of different areas. The most common type of dermal filler is the hyaluronic acid (HA) dermal filler, which is composed of a sugar molecule hyaluronic acid, a fluid that is naturally occurring in our bodies and is typically used for wrinkles, under the eyes, lips, and cheek augmentation.
