There are many factors that can result in hair loss, but the most common condition is male pattern baldness (MPB) and female pattern baldness (FPB). Male pattern baldness is a genetic condition that is inherited, which causes the hair follicles to shrink, damaged and stop producing hair due to some of the male hormones. In the same way, female pattern baldness is also a genetic condition that causes thinning of the hair, most often on the top of the head and crown. For both cases, the success of treatment and remediation strategies are often dependent on a person's general health, age at which hair loss started, rate of loss, and how soon treatment is started. As hair loss becomes greater, the chances of treating the condition get lesser.

Aside from patterned baldness, other factors such as reactions to medication, hormonal imbalances, and aging can cause hair loss. For these cases, there is usually an underlying condition that gives the symptoms of hair loss, so it is important that a doctor is able to accurately diagnose it to target the cause.

Hair Growth PRP

Platelet-rich plasma (PRP) therapy uses the patients' own Platelets to accelerate the healing of the skin. Hair Growth Topical Care

Hair growth topical care usually consists of nonprescriptive over-the-counter Minoxidil (Regaine). They can come in form of liquid, foam, or shampoo that is applied to the scalp. Minoxidil is a vasodilator that increases blood supply to the hair follicles . An increased blood supply will allow more blood to flow to the hair follicles , proving to be an effective hair loss treatment for both men and women. Products with minoxidil help many people regrow their hair or slow the rate of hair loss or both. However, it will still take at least six months of treatment to prevent further hair loss and to start hair regrowth, and it may take a few more months to tell whether the treatment is working for you. We will combine this treatment with the PRP injection into the scalp to promote quicker hair growth.
